Gweni's dam, Elf Lord, was an unregistered F1 50/50 Mini Lamancha with elf ears, her sire was unfortunately not identified before Elfie was sold to us as a bred doe. He was a purebred Lamancha or gopher earred Mini Lamancha. So Gweni was not able to be registered in MDGA, her daughters can be registered as she is in their system as an eligible dam to register doe kids from. Gweni has been on milk test every year we participate. TMGR has a process for a doe to be registered if the meet the physical standard (ears, height, etc.) and produce enough milk to get their milk award. It was a very exciting day when we received notice she was to receive her milk star and be accepted into the registry.
