How Does It Work?
When you join Carpenter Creek Ranch’s Herdshare, you become a part-owner of our milking herd. This allows you to receive fresh raw milk weekly, just like a milk subscription from your own goats!
✅ Each whole share entitles you to one gallon of milk per week. Whole share members need to pay 2 jar deposits to start.
✅ Each half share entitles you to half a gallon of milk per week. Half Shares members need to pay 1 jar deposit to start.
You can purchase multiple shares based on your family's needs. Your membership fee is refundable if you choose to cancel.

Full Share Raw Goat Milk Herdshare
Herdshare Agreement Overview
This purchase represents a full share in our goat herd and entitles the shareholder to receive one gallon of goat milk per week, in exchange for a monthly boarding fee of $80.
In states where herdshare agreements are permitted under dairy regulations, consumers may legally obtain raw milk by purchasing a share in a herd. The shareholder pays a fee to the farmer for the care, boarding, and milking of their portion of the herd. The milk is not purchased but is instead provided as a benefit of ownership.
Upon purchase of a half share, you will receive two documents via email:
- Caprine Bill of Sale of an Undivided Interest in a Herd
- Caprine Agistment Agreement
Once both agreements are signed and returned, you will become an official herdshare member. At that time, you may set up monthly payments through Square or make arrangements to pay by cash, PayPal, or Venmo.
We also offer half shares, which entitle the shareholder to one gallon of milk per week. The one-time herdshare investment is $30 per share, and the monthly boarding fee is $40. Individuals may purchase multiple shares. Please note: due to the nature of herdshare agreements, discounts are not available on share purchases or boarding fees.
